Delhi's resident welfare associations (RWAs) and traders' associations on Wednesday rallied for a community-level response amid uncertainties stemming from the US-Iran conflict, urging people to avoid panic-driven spending.

URJA, an umbrella body for RWAs, encourages households to reduce fuel consumption and promote public transport and carpooling. This comes after statements about fuel conservation began affecting market sentiment, causing traders to worry about consumer footfall.

Leaders of the associations emphasized that calmness and responsible resource use are crucial during times of global energy uncertainty to help stabilize the market and support vulnerable communities.
