The Dehradun Police, in collaboration with the Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF), has claimed a significant development in the investigation of the daylight murder of Jharkhand gangster Vikram Sharma. On Wednesday, officials announced the arrest of 23-year-old Yashraj Singh in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Singh, a resident of Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, was apprehended after authorities received a tip-off about his whereabouts. He is the third suspect taken into custody in connection with the case, while five others, including the shooters, are still at large and carry a reward of Rs 1 lakh each for information leading to their arrest.

Sharma, aged 50, was fatally shot on February 13. During the investigation, it was revealed that Singh had funded logistics for the murder, including travel and accommodation expenses. His connections with the crime highlight the premeditated nature of the operation, officials said.
