Kyiv Under Siege: Unyielding Drone and Missile Assault
Kyiv faces a massive Russian drone and missile assault, with debris impacting various districts, including residential areas. Parts of apartment buildings were shown ablaze in unofficial Telegram videos. Simultaneously, other Ukrainian regions, such as Kharkiv and Sumy, were also targeted. No immediate casualties were reported.
The Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, was subjected to a significant assault from Russian drones and missiles early Thursday, officials confirmed.
Tymur Tkachenko, who heads the capital's military administration, reported debris from falling drones impacting various districts, including residential buildings. Videos on unofficial Telegram channels depicted parts of apartment buildings engulfed in flames. As of now, there are no reports of casualties.
Ukraine's air force stated that Russian missiles also aimed at other regions, including Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv in northern Ukraine, as well as the central region of Poltava.
