Teen's Online Friendship Turns Fatal

A 12th-class student attempted suicide following an argument with an online acquaintance, authorities report. The incident occurred in the Palla area, where the girl consumed poison and is now in critical condition at a local hospital.

Her family claims harassment by a male youth she met online. In response, police have filed an FIR under Section 6 of the POCSO Act against the suspect, an AC mechanic.

As the investigation continues, the police are actively seeking the accused. The victim's testimony will be crucial and is expected once she regains health.
