Tragedy at Dewas: Firecracker Factory Explosion Rocks Madhya Pradesh

In a tragic turn of events, an explosion at a firecracker factory in Madhya Pradesh's Dewas district claimed the lives of three workers and left 25 others injured on Thursday morning. The factory, located along the Agra-Mumbai national highway, erupted in flames around 11 am, officials reported.

Following the incident, Anil Malviya, the factory owner, was arrested under the stringent National Security Act amid allegations of license misuse and violation. Official investigations are underway, involving technical experts from various safety and control organizations to determine the cause of the explosion.

Political leaders expressed their grief and demanded accountability. State Congress President Jitu Patwari held the ruling party accountable for the tragedy, alleging illegal storage practices and inadequate safety measures. A comprehensive inquiry into the incident has been ordered.
