Two men have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting minor girls and uploading the videos as child sexual abuse material. Police identified the accused as Kiran Kumar from Chitradurga and Aditya M K from Shivamogga.

A probe was launched following information from the NCRP portal, highlighting a suspected creation of child sexual abuse material intended for online distribution. The investigation revealed that the accused had recorded their acts on mobile phones and uploaded the footage on the internet.

The case is considered rare as it targets not just possessors but also creators and uploaders of such content. Charges under the IT Act, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the POCSO Act have been filed, and the investigation continues.
