In a gripping case of armed robbery, five individuals were arrested for robbing jewellery and cash from a goldsmith in East Delhi. The dramatic heist occurred when two armed men intercepted Sukumar Dhara as he returned home from his shop in Mandawali.

Police revealed that the robbers made off with 23 gold chains, gold pieces, Rs 3 lakh in cash, and a mobile phone. Following the incident, law enforcement launched an intricate investigation, analysing footage from over 600 CCTV cameras across the city to trace the culprits.

Painstaking police work led to the capture of the suspects in Jafrabad, northeast Delhi. Among those arrested were Vijay Kumar and Sunil, identified as the chief conspirators. The investigation unveiled that the criminals frequently changes locations and disguises to thwart surveillance efforts. Further inquiries continue as the case unfolds.
