Riya, a resident of Dehradun's Vikasnagar area, was allegedly murdered by Shahbaz, a man accused of harassing her, according to police. Forensic experts made the breakthrough by matching DNA from the remains found on October 16, 2025, with samples from Kashyap's parents.
