A two-day search concluded tragically in Odisha's Nayagarh district as the body of a 34-year-old man was discovered in a stone quarry. Authorities have launched a murder investigation following a complaint lodged by the victim's family.
Local police identified the deceased as Pratap Kumar Pattashani, a resident of Nuapada village. Missing since May 15, his body was discovered by a local woman, prompting an intensified inquiry by law enforcement.
Inspector Abhay Behera confirmed the detention of two suspects for questioning. 'The cause of death will be clearer post-autopsy,' Behera stated, underscoring the case's complexity.
