District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap suspended Rajneesh Chauhan, who was responsible for allocating election symbols to candidates in the Dalgaon gram panchayat under Rohru.
An inquiry uncovered that Chauhan neglected to follow the guidelines set by the State Election Commission, resulting in procedural lapses that disrupted the administrative system, necessitating his reassignment to the BDO office in Rohru.
