In the aftermath of tumultuous events during a Thane Municipal Corporation meeting, the Shiv Sena is calling for action against BJP corporators. Allegations involve plots to disrupt proceedings and disrespect the Mayor, escalating tensions within the governing coalition.
Manoj Shinde, a senior Shiv Sena corporator, alleged that BJP intentionally orchestrated the disturbances. Attempts to press unfounded police charges against Sena members were dismissed as no substantial evidence emerged.
Shinde claims BJP corporators disrupted the agenda, resorting to aggression and slogan shouting. Shiv Sena advocates suspensions for the implicated members and seeks intervention from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP state president Ravindra Chavan.
