Tragic Highway Collision: Fatal Accident Captured on CCTV

A tragic accident occurred on the Pilibhit-Haridwar National Highway, claiming the life of one man and injuring two of his family members. The incident unfolded late Saturday night near Amaria town and was captured on CCTV footage that has since surfaced online.

Mudit Gupta, 40, along with his daughter Nitya Gupta and relative Ashish Gupta, were at a roadside shop when a speeding car lost control, crossed the divider, and struck them. Locals at the scene managed to apprehend the driver, who allegedly attempted to flee.

Police have taken him into custody and seized the damaged vehicle. While the injured were transported to the Community Health Centre, Mudit Gupta, in critical condition, was transferred to the district hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
