Kishtwar Sacrilege Case Solved: Five Arrested

Police in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district have resolved a high-profile sacrilege case, leading to the arrest of five individuals allegedly involved in the crime. The incident, reported from Chatroo police station, has been under investigation since May 8.
A special investigation team, spearheaded by Inspector Rishi Kumar from Chatroo station, was formed to fast-track the inquiry. Through a combination of technical evidence and human intelligence, the team successfully identified and apprehended the key suspects by May 15.
The accused, all residents of Kawath Drubeel in Mughalmaidan tehsil, include Sajjad Hussain, Din Mohammad, Mohammad Ramzan, Ghulam Hassan, and Mohammad Ismail. Authorities also recovered a sharp-edged weapon linked to the case. Senior Superintendent of Police, Naresh Singh, underscored the importance of communal harmony, warning against actions detrimental to peace in the district.
