In a troubling incident, the district Congress office in Ambikapur has once again become a target for criminals, as unknown thieves broke in for the third time recently, making off with 73 water taps. They left behind a handwritten note reading 'I Love Ambikapur' as a taunt to the police, raising serious questions about local law enforcement's effectiveness.

District Congress president Balkrishna Pathak revealed that the burglars entered the premises through the rooftop during the night of May 14, causing further damage to wash basins, commodes, and pipelines. The issue of public safety has been thrust into the spotlight as claims of police negligence and drug-related crime surface.
