A 13-year-old boy named B Thivish was tragically found dead in a swamp near the Noyyal River banks, according to police reports on Monday.

Authorities have detained two minor friends, aged 15 and 13, linked to the alleged murder. Initially, the friends claimed Thivish left with someone on a scooter. However, police interrogation revealed a violent altercation, with a 15-year-old assaulting Thivish over alleged remarks about his mother.

The brutal incident, which began as a casual fishing outing, underscores the need for guidance among young individuals. DMK president M. K. Stalin called upon parents and teachers to ensure children develop patience and empathy.
