A tragic incident unfolded in Agra's Tajganj area as a zipline cable failure resulted in the death of 16-year-old Kunal Agrawal. The cable snapped abruptly, leading to his fall from approximately 45 feet.
The teenager, visiting with his family on Sunday, was promptly taken to Sarojini Naidu Medical College, where he was declared dead. Local authorities responded swiftly, with the police launching an investigation into the facility's safety measures.
Officials indicated the adventure activities' operator faces scrutiny, with two individuals currently detained for further questioning. Adventure activities at the site have been indefinitely suspended as a precaution.
