In Nashik, a 32-year-old married woman has been accused of killing her 26-year-old lover due to a financial dispute, with assistance from her female relatives, police reported. The incident unfolded late Monday in a Panchvati tenement.

The victim, Amol Dandge, worked as a recovery agent. At the time of the altercation, Dandge was intoxicated. Police say the suspect from Phulenagar and her sister-in-law strangled Dandge, and then, with another woman's help, took him to a hospital. Doctors alerted authorities upon noticing the strangulation marks. Investigators believe suspicions of an illicit affair may have motivated the crime, and the investigation continues.
