The case, brought by Dina Budhraja, addresses allegations of gender bias after she was barred from participating in certain religious rituals at the Nagpur Parsi Panchayat after her marriage to a Hindu man. Budhraja maintains her Parsi faith and seeks equal treatment as her male counterparts, including access to Zoroastrian religious ceremonies.
