Ramesh Chennithala, Kerala's Home Minister, has criticized the previous Left Democratic Front government for significant financial mismanagement. He claimed the regime left the state with an empty treasury and substantial debt, questioning the purpose behind the expenditure.
Chennithala accused the CPI(M) of orchestrating protests using student groups to destabilize the strategy of the newly elected United Democratic Front. According to him, 22 individuals have been arrested following clashes linked to CPI(M) activities. He pledged that lawbreakers would face justice, highlighting concerns over the state's economic instability.
