Businessman Tragically Dies in Elevator Shaft Accident in UP
In Uttar Pradesh, a businessman lost his life in a tragic incident involving an elevator malfunction. He fell into an empty shaft, and the elevator descended soon after, leading to fatal injuries. Authorities have initiated an investigation to understand the cause of the accident.

A shocking incident unfolded in a multi-storeyed building in Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the death of businessman Hari Om Sharma. According to local police, the tragic event was due to a malfunctioning elevator.
Sharma, a property dealer, visited Rasik Apartments in Ganga Jawahar Colony to meet a client. Unaware of the problem, he stepped into the open lift doorway, failing to notice the absence of the cabin. Seconds later, the elevator came down, inflicting fatal injuries.
Top officials, including Additional City Magistrate Digvijay Singh, quickly arrived on the scene to assess the situation. District magistrate Avinash Kumar has launched an enquiry, appointing a committee with officers from the Aligarh Development Authority to investigate.
The authorities dispatched Sharma's body for a post-mortem examination to gather further information. The tragic accident has highlighted concerns regarding elevator safety and maintenance standards in the area.
