In the early hours of Sunday, a significant fire engulfed Om Sairam Industry near Mushedpur-Khurampur village in Gurugram, prompting a massive firefighting response. Crews worked diligently for nearly eight hours to bring the fire under control, deploying eight fire engines from across the district.
The initial report came into the Pataudi Fire Station, which was first to arrive on the scene, but the intensity of the blaze required additional units from Manesar, Bhim Nagar, and other local stations. Despite the challenging nighttime conditions, no casualties were reported, as the factory was vacant, minimizing the potential for loss of life.
The authorities have planned a thorough search operation inside the factory once the area is safe and cooling operations are complete, to ensure no individuals remain trapped in the debris.
