Coffee Day Global Ltd, the company behind Café Coffee Day, has successfully returned to profitability, posting a profit of Rs 14 crore in the fiscal year 2026. This positive outcome comes alongside a 5.7% increase in revenue from its operations, reaching Rs 1,094 crore, as reported in a recent filing by Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd.
The company's financial health is further demonstrated by a 27% rise in its operating profit, or EBITDA, amounting to Rs 198 crore. While the number of Café Coffee Day outlets decreased to 424 by the end of FY26, the vending machine division saw an upturn with an increase to 55,802 units. This diversification has helped buoy the profit margins.
Despite a fall in Same Store Sales Growth, the overall fiscal performance was bolstered by relevant strategies. Coffee Day Global's parent firm also recorded a profit of Rs 210.14 crore, overcoming the previous fiscal's losses, with an operational revenue increase to Rs 1,154.40 crore.
