Authorities in Jharkhand's Bokaro district have arrested six people following the suspected murder of a 25-year-old woman. The incident involved a brutal attack on her when she tried to break up a fight between neighbors on Friday night. Despite medical attention, she passed away the next day.
The situation on Friday escalated at Dhaurra Dhori Railway Siding when Anita Devi and her husband attempted to quell a violent dispute. The deceased's family claims she was pregnant, prompting the BJP to initially call for a boycott, which subsided post the arrest of the key suspect, Surendra Bhuiyan.
In addition to Bhuiyan, police apprehended Bablu Kumar, Birendra Kumar Bharati, Rahul Degar, Rajesh Bhuiyan, and Dhiren Bhuiyan. Official statements and the family's complaint have led to these arrests, while further investigations and raids are underway to bring remaining suspects to justice.
