In a strategic move on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President Droupadi Murmu to discuss the Indian armed forces' precision strikes on terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Under the codename 'Operation Sindoor,' nine significant sites, including the headquarters and training centres of terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), were targeted. These locations are notorious for planning and launching terror attacks against India.
The military operations were executed two weeks following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians, among them a Nepali national. Photos of Modi's meeting with President Murmu were shared on social media by the President's office.
