Karnataka Intensifies Security Amidst Pakistan Tensions

Karnataka's Home Minister, G Parameshwara, confirmed on Wednesday that the state has initiated security measures based on the Central government's advisories amid rising tensions with Pakistan.
Parameshwara, aligning with the state's political stance, expressed full support for the government's decisions, highlighting the importance of a unified voice during national security matters. He reiterated the commitment to securing significant infrastructures, including power stations, dams, and industries, in response to advisories from the Ministry of Defence and Home Affairs.
He also assured that all Superintendents of Police have been alerted and instructed to maintain vigilance. A series of mock drills are set to commence, led by Civil Defence officials, aimed at identifying preparedness gaps and ensuring resource readiness across designated areas.
