Sharad Pawar, chief of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar), commended 'Operation Sindoor' on Wednesday, hailing India's aggressive stance following a terror attack in Pahalgam. He emphasized that no nation could be passive in such scenarios.
Through missile strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, Indian armed forces targeted critical sites, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's base in Muridke. Pawar confirmed his discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, expressing full support during these challenging times.
Pawar also addressed the importance of international backing, highlighting support from global powers, excluding China. He advised maintaining vigilance against potential counteractions from Pakistan but underlined India's right to defend its sovereignty.
