In a significant political congregation, Congress party stalwarts, with leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi at the helm, assembled on Wednesday to deliberate on the aftermath of Operation Sindoor. The operation, a strategic military maneuver, involved precise strikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).
AICC general secretary K C Venugopal noted that the leaders aimed to assess the operation's implications and to applaud the armed forces for their valor and accomplishments. The session was attended by senior members, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Ajay Maken, at the Congress headquarters on 24 Akbar Road.
Officials revealed that the Indian military executed the strikes using advanced precision techniques, targeting key locations associated with terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, all while ensuring no breach of Pakistani airspace. This strategic offensive was able to neutralize threats despite high-risk conditions.
