Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Applauds Ayurveda's National Revival Amidst PM Modi's Empowerment Agenda

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta lauded the strides taken to unify Ayurveda across India, emphasizing its role in holistic health care. She noted Ayurveda's ability to diagnose and treat illnesses through pulse reading, relying on widely available herbs.

Gupta expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts since 2014 in promoting Ayurveda, referencing the establishment of the Ministry of AYUSH as a significant milestone. She highlighted the BJP's return to power in Delhi as a revival of Ayurveda in India and mentioned the Delhi government's substantial budget allocations for alternative medicine.

Plans were outlined for a Global Ayurveda Conference in Delhi, expected to attract international participation. PM Modi, at the ABP Network India@2047 Summit, spotlighted a shift from GDP to a Gross Empowerment of People (GEP)-centric model, advocating for human-centric globalisation focused on dignity and empowerment.

PM Modi stressed the liberating impact of schemes such as Ayushman Bharat and PM Awas Yojana, underscoring the empowerment of individuals receiving essential services. He emphasized India's success in poverty reduction under BJP governance, proving democracy's efficacy.

PM Modi also addressed corruption, highlighting direct benefit transfer systems as a means to ensure beneficiaries receive government funds without leakage, countering previous inefficiencies where substantial portions of allocated funds were lost.
