In a strategic move, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has set its sights on competing in 12 to 15 constituencies for the imminent Bihar assembly elections. This was confirmed by a party official on Thursday.
The final decision regarding the number of seats will emerge after in-depth discussions with allies in the INDIA bloc, according to Vinod Kumar Pandey, JMM's general secretary and spokesperson.
Simultaneously, rising geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan have prompted JMM to put a hold on its Sarna religious code campaign in Jharkhand, emphasizing national unity and support for the armed forces.
