On Thursday, Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde praised the Indian armed forces for their decisive action in 'Operation Sindoor', which targeted terror camps in Pakistan. In an interview with ANI, Shinde emphasized the unwavering support of the Indian public for the military's efforts in neutralizing security threats. Posters in Mumbai supporting the mission highlight this sentiment.
During a significant all-party meeting, the Union Defence Minister disclosed that the operation, including precision strikes, resulted in the elimination of over 100 terrorists. The meeting coincided with increased cross-border tensions following India's retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Key political figures, including Union Ministers and Congress leaders, engaged in discussions on the issue.
As India successfully demolished nine terror sites within Pakistan territories, Pakistan retaliated with attempted military strikes on several Indian locations. India's robust defense systems, including the use of S-400 Sudarshan Chakra missiles, countered these attacks effectively. The Indian Armed Forces remain committed to preventing escalation, responding suitably to any provocation from Pakistan.
