Rubio Pushes for Peace: India-Pakistan Dialogue Gains Momentum

In a series of diplomatic efforts, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called for de-escalation and direct dialogue between India and Pakistan. The announcement was made by Tammy Bruce, a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, who revealed details of separate conversations held on Thursday.
During these discussions, Rubio reiterated America's commitment to cooperating with India in its battle against terrorism, communicating this directly to Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Meanwhile, in talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Rubio expressed grief over the reported civilian casualties resulting from the ongoing conflict between the two nations.
In addition to expressing sorrow, Rubio urged Pakistan to actively disengage from supporting terrorist organizations. These efforts underscore the U.S. approach towards fostering peace and stability in the region, emphasizing dialogue as a crucial step in resolving tensions.
