IYC Mobilizes for Humanitarian Aid Amid Border Tensions

Amid rising tensions at the Line of Control, the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) called for nationwide mobilization of its members on Thursday to offer humanitarian aid in affected border regions.

An official statement from the IYC highlighted the critical security threats facing the nation and emphasized the need for internal support. 'Our brave soldiers are defending the borders with unmatched courage. Our role is to support those within the borders, providing aid and rising as humanitarian volunteers,' it stated.

To address this, #SOSIYC Relief Camps are being established in border districts to assist civilians impacted by the tensions, organized under the leadership of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

The IYC encourages its state and district units to rapidly amass resources, database volunteers, and maintain effective coordination. They emphasized that youth volunteers should be ready to assist with blood donation, medical emergencies, and logistical challenges, focusing on humanity rather than protest.
