Operation Sindoor: India's Bold Retaliation Against Terror
India's 'Operation Sindoor' targeted terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir following a brutal attack in Pahalgam by terrorists backed by Pakistan, killing 26 civilians. Indian Ambassador Vinay Kwatra affirmed India's resolve to bring justice, urging Pakistan to cease support for terrorism.

India has launched a decisive military response against terrorism with 'Operation Sindoor', targeting terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. This follows the heinous attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which resulted in the tragic death of 26 civilians.
Vinay Kwatra, the Indian Ambassador to the United States, underscored India's commitment to holding these terrorists accountable, emphasizing that they shall not be given a free pass. The backlash was inevitable as the attack, claimed by The Resistance Front, a proxy of Lashkar-e-Taiba, called for a firm international and domestic response.
Kwatra voiced concerns over Pakistan's continued support for terrorism, urging the global community to press Pakistan to cease its backing of terror activities. He cited historical precedence to suggest Pakistan's denial and obfuscation, reinforcing India's stance that global attention should focus on condemning and stopping this state-sponsored terrorism.
