Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a significant meeting with military veterans, including former chiefs of the army, navy, and air force, amid growing tension with Pakistan, according to officials.
The discussion aimed at assessing the situation following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam attributed to Pakistani influences, which claimed 26 lives, predominantly tourists.
In response to Pakistan's breach of Indian airspace with a swarm of 300-400 drones, the Indian armed forces reportedly took successful countermeasures, retaking control over the targeted military installations from Leh to Sir Creek.
