Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has expressed concerns over the Indian central government's approach to the recent ceasefire with Pakistan. He suggested that an all-party meeting and a parliamentary session should have been convened for such a pivotal decision.
Siddaramaiah commended the armed forces for their role in anti-terror operations, insisting that the credit for these achievements should solely rest with them, not political entities. He refrained from making direct comparisons with past leaders, stressing the focus on current developments.
Addressing the issue of Pakistani nationals in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah clarified that only three children remained, owing to their Indian mother and Pakistani father, further noting that they had unsuccessfully attempted to leave the country.
