Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Saturday took a swipe at Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav, by alluding to a famous scene in the classic Bollywood movie 'Deewar.' Chaudhary drew parallels between the film's iconic line and Tejashwi's father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, who has been embroiled in the fodder scam.
The Deputy CM cited the dialogue where Amitabh Bachchan's character acknowledges his father's criminal past, suggesting Tejashwi too must recognize Lalu's conviction. The fodder scam first emerged in 1996, leading to Lalu's 2017 conviction over illegal withdrawals from government treasuries.
Simultaneously, both Deputy CMs of Bihar participated in Yoga Day celebrations, where Vijay Sinha criticized the RJD, accusing them of undermining state health efforts. The event co-hosted by PM Modi in Visakhapatnam, promoted yoga as a global unifier, emphasizing India's international influence in wellness.
