Sanjeev Arora Takes the Lead in Ludhiana West Bypoll Battle
AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora leads with 2,286 votes in Ludhiana West bypoll, with Congress' Bharat Bhushan Ashu trailing. Arora secured 14,486 votes after six rounds of counting, while Ashu had 12,200. BJP's Jiwan Gupta ranked third and SAD's Parupkar Singh Ghuman fourth. A voter turnout of 51.33% was recorded.

AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora established a significant lead of 2,286 votes over Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu in the Ludhiana West assembly bypoll, according to data from the Election Commission website.
After six rounds of vote counting, Arora received 14,486 votes, while Ashu secured 12,200 votes. Notably, Ashu led during the fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds of counting.
The bypoll recorded a voter turnout of 51.33 percent, a notable decrease from the 64 percent turnout seen in the 2022 state elections. Voting began at 8 am at Khalsa College for Women.
