Shiv Sena minister Bharat Gogawale has issued an apology to his cabinet colleague Nitesh Rane, a BJP MLA, following controversial remarks about Nitesh's father, Narayan Rane, a former Union minister.

During a cabinet meeting, Gogawale clarified that his comments, which cited Narayan Rane's criminal cases and prison time as part of his rise, were made in an unintended flow of speech. He emphasized there was no malice behind his words.

Nitesh Rane is said to have overlooked the comments, understanding that the minister's words held no ill intention. Sources reveal that Gogawale praised the elder Rane's contributions to the party.
