Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has taken a firm stance against the notion of 'good Taliban' in the province, as he ruled out further military operations as a means of addressing terrorism.
Addressing an All-Parties Conference convened by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Gandapur stressed that past operations were ineffective and declared that drone strikes are unacceptable. He criticized the federal government's handling of border security issues.
The conference was boycotted by major political parties, including PML-N, PPP, JUI-F, and ANP, labeling it a political stunt. Gandapur responded by accusing the opposition of cowardice for not supporting provincial progress and insisting on non-cooperation over security strategies.
