Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, on Tuesday urged Home Minister Amit Shah to accept responsibility for the security lapse that resulted in the Pahalgam terror attack.
During a special discussion on 'Operation Sindoor', Kharge criticized the government, specifically targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing political campaigns over national security.
Kharge emphasized the need for accountability, urging the government to admit its failures. He questioned the position of Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, who admitted to the oversight but did not hold the home minister accountable.
