During a special discussion in the Rajya Sabha on Operation Sindoor, Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav expressed concerns over a threatening axis that includes Pakistan, China, and America, notably citing remarks by former US President Donald Trump.
Yadav explained that Pakistan had previously used weapons from China. Although some were from Turkey, the majority were Chinese. Trump's recent comments, where he both praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed affection for Pakistan, underscored an unstable geopolitical climate.
Opposition leaders, including P Chidambaram and Shaktisinh Gohil, echoed these concerns, suggesting that India faced substantial challenges not only from Pakistan but also from China's influence. Amidst these tensions, the call for a unified political front and self-reliance in defense has grown louder.
