Senior Congress leader Pawan Khera has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of failing to dismiss US President Donald Trump's claim regarding intervention during a military standoff with Pakistan. Khera stated that this opportunity, presented by Rahul Gandhi, was squandered during a debate in Lok Sabha on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor.
During a session with the press in Patna, Khera criticized the Prime Minister's lack of a decisive response to questions posed in Parliament. He also referenced a recent CAG report detailing alleged financial mismanagement in Bihar, which he claims indicates a scam amounting to over Rs 70,000 crore, impacting infrastructure and social welfare projects.
Khera emphasized that a significant portion of Bihar's budget remains unaccounted for, with numerous outstanding utilization certificates. He accused the current state government of deep-rooted corruption, affecting various essential departments and social welfare schemes.
