Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad launched a scathing critique of Rahul Gandhi on Friday, accusing the Congress leader of making unfounded allegations against the Election Commission and other institutions. Prasad suggested that Rahul Gandhi's accusations stem from frustrations over the Congress party's repeated electoral defeats.
Rahul Gandhi has accused the Election Commission of India of facilitating large-scale voter fraud, claiming the Congress possesses definitive evidence of such misconduct. Addressing reporters outside Parliament, Gandhi asserted the BJP's involvement and promised to release the evidence soon, stating the nation would then recognize the alleged electoral malpractice.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju also rebuffed Gandhi's claims of voter fraud, labeling them as part of a "malicious plan" to tarnish constitutional organizations. Rijiju emphasized that such actions threaten democratic principles and suggested internal dissent within the opposition against Gandhi's approach, indicating a divide over his tactics.
