The passing of veteran tribal leader and JMM co-founder Shibu Soren has been described as 'the end of an era' by Alok Kumar Dubey, national president of the Private Schools and Children Welfare Association (PASWA). Soren, who was 81, succumbed to kidney-related ailments at Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Soren's death is seen as an immense loss to both Jharkhand and the nation, with Dubey emphasizing Soren's role as a 'guardian of tribal identity' and a defender of rights and dignity. Described as a unique leader and a people's leader, Soren dedicated his life to championing the causes of the marginalized and tribal communities.
