Shaina NC, a prominent leader within Maharashtra's Shiv Sena, has been elevated to the role of national spokesperson, according to an announcement by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Known for her background in fashion design, Shaina's appointment was made official by the party on Monday.
Her new role, which will last for a year, marks a significant chapter in her political journey that began when she joined Shiv Sena, departing from its ally, the BJP, just before the November 2024 assembly elections.
Although her bid for a seat in the Mumbadevi constituency during the 2024 polls was unsuccessful, her commitment to the party has been recognized with this new responsibility.
