In a political storm brewing in Bihar, Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha has leveled serious allegations against Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, claiming he holds multiple Election IDs. This accusation has spurred discussions on potential malpractice among Yadav's supporters. Jha emphasized that there's no underlying issue with the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar.
These allegations follow a recent complaint filed against Yadav at Digha Police Station in Patna by advocate Rajiv Ranjan. The complaint alleges that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader possesses two Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPICs) and calls for legal action to be taken. Tejashwi Yadav has countered by claiming his EPIC number has been altered, adding that his name has inexplicably vanished from the electoral roll.
In light of these claims, electoral authorities in Patna have requested Yadav to furnish details of his EPIC card for further investigation. Despite his assertions at a press conference, officials have confirmed Yadav's name on the electoral list. Meanwhile, the JDU has criticized Yadav, accusing him of spreading misinformation and asserting that the opposition's narrative has collapsed under these revelations.
