Tensions have flared in the Pulivendula Assembly constituency as YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accuses Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of orchestrating political violence. During the ongoing ZPTC by-election campaign, incidents of stone-pelting and misuse of power have been reported.

According to Reddy, TDP workers pelted stones at YSRCP MLC Ramesh Yadav's convoy in Nalgondavaripalli village, leading to damage to his vehicle. He claims Naidu is leveraging his position to manipulate police forces and promote aggressive politics to win the bypoll.

The previous ZPTC member, C Maheshwar Reddy, passed away, prompting the by-election. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has accused the ruling TDP of carrying out a political conspiracy against YSRCP and plans to address these concerns with the Governor.
