As the Trump administration doubles tariffs on Indian goods to 50%, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey urges Indians to rally behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi and project a unified stance against the US decision. Dubey emphasized the importance of a strong nation, referencing past operations and current US tariff disputes.
Criticizing the Congress party, Dubey accused its leadership, including figures like Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, of crony capitalism, highlighting their alleged frequent use of planes belonging to major Indian industrialists, Adani and Ambani. Dubey questioned the Congress' relationships with such corporate figures, contrasting them with Prime Minister Modi's integrity.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi's assertions that Modi's hands are tied due to a US investigation into Adani, Dubey defended the Prime Minister, labeling him as a leader with no past obligations. Meanwhile, the US justifies increased tariffs by pointing to India's extensive imports of Russian oil, deemed a security concern.
