Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging collusion to manipulate the Lok Sabha election results. Speaking at the 'Vote Adhikar Rally', Gandhi claimed both entities stole the election by engaging in wrongful practices.
Gandhi criticized the Election Commission for requesting affidavits under oath, emphasizing that he had previously taken the oath in Parliament. He accused the Commission of shutting down its websites in select states to avoid scrutiny based on data he provided, suggesting systemic coverage of wrongdoing.
The former Congress president demanded an investigation by his party-run Karnataka government into the alleged election theft. He urged the Commission to disclose voter data, warning of further inquiries if uncooperative, and stressed the importance of adhering to constitutional principles.
