Tension in Goa Congress: NSUI Chief Claims Assault by State Leader

Tensions have flared within the Goa Congress following allegations by NSUI president Naushad Chowdhari against state party chief Amit Patkar. Chowdhari claims Patkar abused and manhandled him at the Congress office in a dispute over NSUI activities.
In a formal complaint to National Students Union of India president Varun Choudhary, Chowdhari accused Patkar of pushing him and using offensive language. The altercation allegedly took place during a scheduled protest concerning 'vote theft'.
The incident reportedly occurred in the presence of witnesses, including Shrinivas Khalap, a prominent Congress leader. Chowdhari has threatened police action unless the party addresses the situation.
